Anyone else remember knitwear like this? - 
I had lots, all knitted by my Nana and they weren't considered 'designer' and didn't cost Β£195
I had a lovely jumper along the lines of this design and would love another - but not at that price!
I think these are back in fashion tumblespots. I saw a yellow one in a magazine last week which was reasonably priced. It caught my eye as I used to have one like it.
gerrykelly25 tumblespots That's what caught my eye, funny how things come back. When I had them they were 'just jumpers'. Mine used to get 'extensions' on the arms and body length because I was growing so fast, Nana used to unpick and put an extra fair isle bit in then knit cuffs back.

lilyflower that was a clever trick! I have never mastered the art of knitting. Being left handed, it was difficult to learn.
You should buy yourself one in memory of your Nana 
gerrykelly25 Nana had many talents, she could knit, sew, bake and passed all these skills on. Her mum was a seamstress and Nana worked in a sweet factory. I think it must be in the genes as I bake and my son's a chef, but my sister sews.
I usually buy my winter jumpers from primark. They always keep me warm. I like the Christmas jumper range they have there
I quite like that jumper. Not for Β£195 tho. Theres alot of Fairisle style jumpers on the high street at the mo for considerably less money.
My granny used to knit all my cardigans when I was younger. My son has lots of knitted cardigans and jumpers from his great Granny and his great auntie. I really like that jumper but I wouldn't pay that for it!
A lot of my Scandinavian friends wear knitwear like this, mainly as knitwear never goes out if fashion, and a lot of it are hand-me-downs
My mum knitted all of my and my brother's jumpers when we were little. I had one a bit like that one
