Do you think we'll be able to fly much faster around the world in this century and at the similar prices as we do now? Such as flying from the UK to Asia in just an hour?
I think we've gone backwards, We had concorde in the 70s that would make short work of transatlantic flights. Here we are in 2019 all the advancement in technology . computerisation etc and and the travel time is double .
There are some faster planes and they were used before and they do not use them now. I do not think that fast travel should be in the air...always imagined it like a tube, underground, under the sea...and it would use electric magnetic power and not fuel, so more environmental friendly.
Well, depends whereabouts in Asia or you'd just like to be dropped anywhere in that continent? In that case, it could be China or Japan which would certainly take longer.
