Favourite Breed of Dog
Ask a Question
We have recently rescued a bull dog and love the wrinkly faced breeds as also had a Dogue De Boedeaux, whats your favourite breed of dog.
I like all dogs, but I think Dachshund dogs are my favourite because they are just so small and cute.
You're so right. They're so bright and funny. The trouble with them is that so many end up with back problems due to genetics but wonderful dogs.
I don’t know much about dogs but I’ve always had a soft spot for the Akita breed. They’re also very intelligent and strong and can grow to become quite big.
German Shepherd.
We actually have a small one and he's super cute. Almost as if he's a plushie.
Looks similar to this one:
Wish he had blue eyes and blonde hair.
As some of you probably know, I've got a Jack doggo called Harvey. He's tired at the moment.

I wouldn’t be able to pick a favourite as I love so many breeds of dogs! My two are Labrador cross and I have always had Labrador so I suppose they are my fave really! This is Bailey right now tucked up on her sofa
I don't have a dog and if I did I'd have a smaller breed as I have a small house but I think my favourite is the Golden Retriever. I'm more a cat person though.
As my username may suggest, we always had Black Labradors.
This is Milo, Mia & Mabel - sadly all gone now.
Now we have 2 rescue Dogue De Bordeaux, Mungo & Maisie
It’s too hard to choose. I often say I have a favourite but it changes so often. They’re all grrrreat!
I love husky dogs, they remind me of wolves. I think they are very calm and friendly dogs, I would love to get one some day
German shepherd cross Whippet. Want to cuddle up on the sofa and be affectionate but also have the herding instinct of the shepherd, some of the protectiveness, all of the brains. Wonderful dogs.
I love all dogs! We have had a border terrier, a staffie and currently a Springer Spaniel - all rescue dogs. They all had distinct personalities.
gerrykelly25 It's nice that you got rescue dogs
We got offered our doggo from a farm because he wasn't wanted. They were going to 'get rid' of him if we didn't take him.
TheChimp there are so many beautiful dogs in need of a home, I would never pay a breeder for one. My sister used to have a Jack Russell. He was mad! A bundle of energy and very cheeky, but loveable.
I’ve got a rescue dog jack russel cross lapso, I’ve developed a sever allergy to animals since having pneumonia so I can’t even stroke her anymore, luckily she gets so much love from the kids and the other half
gerrykelly25 I’m not sure it’s a thing. The pneumonia was hard on my whole body Even one of my kidneys packed up. I think it’s because I had it server I was hospitalised for two weeks
hrdaniels1980 that was very severe. To be honest, I thought pneumonia only affected the lungs. Has your kidney recovered?
gerrykelly25 it does normally but think because my doctor didn’t treat it my body went into shut down. No my kidney hasn’t recovered as I’ve got chronic kidney disease now. My lungs haven’t recovered either as got asthma.
hrdaniels1980 it sounds like you were lucky to pull through. Your family must have been very worried.
My mum has recently bought a Minature Pinscher and they are definitely now my favourite breed!
I love all dogs I had a Jack Russell,he was a loyal little thing, miss him...then we rescued an alapaha bulldog five years ago, sweet natured,he has some health issues with his joints
