Whats Your Favourite Cake?
Ask a Question
Big fan of a victoria sponge or a chocolate fudge cake but must be moist. What's everyone's favourite
Glitterandgold I totally agree. Black forest is the best. Especially if it has a bit of Kirsch in it.
I am with you on the chocolate fudge cake, heated for 20 seconds in the microwave and served with vanilla ice cream.
Agree that they must be moist - hate a dry cake.
Love a chocolate fudge cake, especially with lots of goo!
I love a coffee cake, but i do love a jam and cream sponge birthday cake with white icing aswell. Chocolate fudge cake is nice - just give me any cake
A manchester slice for me asked my local cake shop once did they sell them she never heard of one
I like all cakes, but I am particularly partial to cheesecakes, especially homemade. Plus, homemade cheesecakes are fun to make. Here's an example of a chocolate mint Aero cheesecake I made a couple of years ago:
Lemon drizzle cake, coffee and walnut cake, carrot cake and battenburg, ooh and those Mr K Manor Farm cakes. Lol.Perhaps more to the point the only cake I'm not keen on is chocolate cake but I am a hero and if its the only cake available I'll eat it
Not really a fan of sweet treats, but I have had some yummy cheesecakes previously, mainly as they were on the cheesy, creamy side opposed to being sweet
A proper Black Forest Gateaux (not frozen) with whole cherries and Kirsch or an apple and cinnamon batter cake. In fact, any cake/cheesecake apart from coffee cake.
I am massive fan of Victoria sponge I think it has a great taste but my son prefers chocolate fudge cake
Has to be a lemon drizzle cake for me and carrot cake is a close second. Don't get me wrong I love rich chocolate cakes but I feel like a lemon drizzle done right is just amazing x
