Die Hard - it's a non-Christmas Christmas film. Meaning it's set over Christmas, but the festivities are not an integral part of the story 🎅 🔫

Another non-Christmas Christmas film is Lethal Weapon - 'If these two can learn to stand each other... the bad guys don't stand a chance'. 🚔 🔫

It hasn't been mentioned yet, but Gremlins is a great Christmas film. Fun and scares, what's not to like?

Absolutely. I watch it every year. And Home Alone 2. I draw the line at all the other spin offs - if it's not Macaully then it's not Christmas!

I love The Little Princess! Always watch it at Christmas too for some reason. Oh and Muppet's Christmas Carol has been staple Christmas Eve viewing in my flat for years now 🙂

When we were kids it was always the great escape for the adults and the wizard of oz for the children. Every Christmas without fail.

Went to the cinema last night and saw a trailer for the new Mary Poppins film with Emily Blunt. It looked really good and I would love to take my grandson to see it so will get his parents to encourage him to see the first one over Christmas. The second one is with the children grown up and kids of their own.

Bad Santa starring Billy Bob Thorton. I've lost the count of times I've seen this but definitely way less than I watched Dumb & Dumber.

I was pretty disappointed how the sequels of Bad Santa and Dumb & Dumber both turned out, certainly nowhere near as good as the originals were and wish they just weren't made. It was like, they just made them for a paycheck. 😐
