Mine is Home Alone and Miracles on 34th Street. Yours?
We watch this always on xmas eve or Christmas Day. Do you have a tradition?
I love the polar express, the grinch and home alone 2! I will happily watch any Christmas movie though
Muppets Christmas Carol, Love Actually, Home Alone. I love them all really especially ones based on a Christmas Carol. But I'll watch any of the cheesy family made for TV Christmas films.
The first two Home Alone films are the only ones that come to mind. I'm not crazy about Christmas films.
So many to chose but probably Santa Claus The movie ( with Dudley Moore) and we always watch Love Actually around Christmas time also
Christmas movies are the best . I love It's a Wonderful Life, Elf and Christmas Chronicles especially. I even enjoy having Die Hard (that ultimate Christmas feel good movie ) inflicted on me by my husband every year.
It's a wonderful life and Christmas with the kranks
Usually have have a full Xmas movie day always start with Christmas with the the kranks nad finish with its a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life definitely seems like a great Christmas movie but I also have a fondness for the Wizard of Oz I must admit. Nowadays I get a nice Christmassy feeling from Wallace and Gromit. Something like the 'wrong trousers' is very appealing on Christmas or Boxing day. Another movie that works well at Christmas for me is Time Bandits.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase is just brilliant at this time of year! Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life. Oh and Santa Claus the Movie - Does anybody recognize Mike out of the Young One's in it!??
I didn't know that! I will be looking out for Mike when we watch it this year.... Of course, Mike is also in Only Fools and Horses too as the shorter of the Driscoll brothers.
tumblespots ha ha! Yes he is and Hyacinth Bucket's (pronounced Bouquet!) sister Daisy plays Santa Claus's wife!
Die Hard - at the airport has to be one of the best - but there are some great really cheesey films on the Christmas movie channels at the moment
Scrooge (the 1951 Version with Alastair Sim), National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, It's a Wonderful Life, and Elf.
All are must watch films every year.
I like Die Hard, which is a non-Christmas Christmas film. Meaning the story takes place during the festive period, but has nothing to do with Christmas. I enjoy It's a Wonderful Life, but I've seen it so many times that I'm unlikely to be watching it again any time soon. I've never been a fan of the Home Alone films.
The Grinch for sure jim carey was one of my fave actors growing up shame i dont see him in much anymore i thinks hes great
Im not a big film fan but the Christmas ones I like are the Nativity films and Love Actually
