Favourite Coffee Shop

If you are out and about who do you prefer costa, starbucks etc etc or a nice local firm
Tim Hortons (the Canadian coffee / doughnut shop that’s now spreading across the UK) or Cafe Nero, definitely way better than Costa or Starbucks!
Out of the large companies I prefer Starbucks followed by Caffè Nero. But, I also like to go to smaller and independent places such as Kaffeine, Omotesando Koffee (hopefully it will reopen soon), Monmouth Coffee and many others
I prefer my local family owned shops but of the big chains it goes Nero, Costa, Pret and then Starbucks. I don't drink coffee so it boils down to tea prices and loyalty cards for me and it bugs me that Starbucks charge you extra for wanting a bit more water
local coffee shops for me. I do buy from the brands, but they often charge a lot for generic coffee, and they do not include the personal touch. Local baristas are friendly and you are always given a warm welcome
Used to be Wetherspoons for the free refills unsure if they still do that offer as not been to one in recent times.
Costa for their Christmas black forest hot chocolate. Not a coffee person but their hot choclate is too die for
I enjoy a coffee but very rarely go to any of them, can't justify the cost and can't put one better than another
Quite happy with Morrisons recently with their coffee only being 50p, their machines do quite a nice Mocha too.
When kids are in school and we do shopping we some times get a breakfast there with a coffee they usually get food order wrong
Imnotcheap I have to say I agree with you, staff training in Morrisons seems quite poor and I've had issues waiting as the person serving didn't understand the till. I had to wait for the coffee machine to be serviced it needed more milk and the grounds emptying.
