Your Favourite 'Mouthwatering Sweets'
Ask a Question
There have always been sweets on the market 'that make your mouth water' but have you got a sweet that makes your mouth water by just thinking about it and not actually eating it?
I can't pick a favourite sweet, there are too many. But I do love candy corn at the moment, I got some imported from America for Halloween
Moonstone22 Is it nice? When I went to Florida I tried a few sweets there but not candy corn as of yet. I tried laffy taffy, salt water taffy and milk duds etc
RyanTownleyUK30 OMG I'll have to research what all of yours are, but it sounds like you've been getting your taste buds tingling Ryan x
RyanTownleyUK30 JoTarpley Candy corn are unusual, they don't taste like any other sweet I have tried. They are soft and crumble in your mouth and taste buttery and are made with honey. Candy corn are known as the traditional Halloween candy in America so they do different types of candy corn every autumn. They did pumpkin pie flavour this year which I haven't tried yet but have ordered. I have tried laffy taffy before, I received them in an American candy box I ordered last year
My favourite treat is Thornton's toffee or toffee in general. I like chocolate but that is more take it or leave it for me. I am partial to a double decker though.
It's a lovely taste toffee isn't it BonzoBanana , I haven't had any for ages, when you think about it...... we have an awful lot of choice don't we??!! x
JoTarpley Yes the choice of wonderful food treats is huge here, I will never try all the different options. I'll probably have a good stab at trying all the different toffee available though.
I love the Thornton’s milk chocolate covered toffee! I am really nervous about eating toffee now though, since losing a filling to it once!
RyanTownleyUK30 here's some I found, there's different varieties and amounts and prices from different sellers but at least we know now x
JoTarpley I realise a late reply but notice 'Swedish Fish' don't contain gelatin so if you are vegan or vegetarian or you just don't fancy a sweet made of boiled up sheep skin and bones like many other similar sweets then its a good option.
Oooohh they are rather nice aren't they
Hope you are keeping well and blossoming RegularComper90 x
Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate. I like the other flavours as well, but the original red box is still the best.
I love the white chocolate ones and coconut but the rest I am no longer keen on, have probably eaten too many in the past!
Aniseed balls. Always been my fav. Don't see them so much these days. I always nab a few when I come across then
It has to be a good quality toffee, an expensive clotted cream fudge or some homemade honeycomb for me.
