What is Your Favourite Soup?

Ask a Question

The weather's changing and winter is coming and there's nothing better than a nice bowl of soup and a crusty roll on a cold day.

So what is your favourite soup?

I think that I might have to go with Baxter's Royal Game soup πŸ˜‹

I make my own soup which is very popular in my house.. carrots, butternut squash, potatoes, chickpeas, onion, tomato purΓ©e, chicken stock (all blended up) and then added chicken on top πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

SarahBenne67061 I do make a broccoli and stilton soup every so often.

A lot of people won't make it because they don't like how strong the cheese is.

I don't like stilton to be honest, but it doesn't come across so harsh in a soup.

A nice homemade Cullen Skink.

I've tried shop ones but they don't measure up.

Growing up my mam used to make the best ham shank soup with dumplings in. I tried making it myself recently & it was too salty.

Glitterandgold Yes my mum did it that way and wasn't salty, but think she changed the water around three times throughout the day then leaving it over night before cooking πŸ‘

Gazz3 Ah ok. I thought it was just the peas to soak, but that explains the immense saltiness then. I'll have another go at making it again now. Thanks! πŸ‘

I invested in a soup manufacturer. I asked them what the stock options were.

They said chicken or vegetable
