Favourite/best Resturants to Eat at for a Celebratory Meal?

Just curios where you guys like to guys like to go resturant wise when having a meal with a group of friends and what the best deals are to look out for to use in them.
I'm tring not to stick to the same old resurant every time. I usually go to the Harvester, while it's brilliant, It's nice to try something new once in a while.
I love cafe rouge as it's close by and can get some vouchers to make it very reasonably priced. Depends what you have close to you and your budget.
If I go low key with friends for lunch it is usually Harvester, Toby (I love a carvery) etc. I do not have posh tastes so am happy to go to anything like that, reasonably priced. However, if my sons and their families take me for a meal to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or whatever, it is usually Miller and Carter and for 7 of us it is very expensive. However, if you sign up to their website they do often send vouchers and of course for 2 or 3 the cost would be very much less.
I usually like trying different or new places, so don't often revisit restaurants I've been to before. If I was splurging a little for a celebration, I like the Yotam Ottolenghi restaurant in Islington.
