Fed up Living in Filthy Surroundings

Other

In medieval times they chucked their rubbish and human waste out of the window, woe betide you if you were walking beneath! But in a way we have not really progressed and I am sickened by the way some humans despoil their own neighbourhood and are content to live amongst the filth.

Dog excrement, empty beer cans, takeaway food wrappers and remains, overgrown rubbish-dumped front gardens, fly tipping, it just goes on. Walking the streets is a minefield of trying to avoid stepping in something nasty. Have people no pride? How much nicer if everyone looked after the space outside their homes instead of thinking 'why should I?'

I couldn't agree with you more. It is disgusting what people dump/drop/throw they are so selfish. There is no need for it. People who pick up their dog mess then throw that bag make my blood boil 😡

I hate looking out of my kitchen window which faces on to the road. I do appreciate there are elderly/infirm who are unable to keep front gardens in order but what has happened to community spirit?

I appear to be the only one who goes out in my marigolds with a black sack!

Yes I often see plastic bags of dog mess on the road being flattened by passing vehicles!

I do not understand. We have 4 different bins to recycle. In the meantime people trash subway lid in our front garden and elsewhere....

Littering is one of my biggest bug bares.

I have a feeling I may have mentioned it before, or answered another thread but I must admit that this is more about human beings who cannot seem to live their life with any dignity or respect for others.

Lynibis I started a thread a couple weeks ago about people throwing litter from cars etc I think you may have answered that.

I totally agree it’s a respect for others and their surroundings. There really is no need for rubbish to be strewn everywhere.
