In the Festival Spirit - What Festival Would You Recommend for Families?
Ask a Question
Okay so it may not be perfect festival weather but it's certainly got me I need the spirit seeing off these festival photos. What music festival would you recommend in the UK for a family with toddlers and teens?
Underneath the Stars festival in South Yorkshire is very very good and very family friendly. I think that has been and gone though. The other bigger and still family friendly one I have done in the past is Greenman in Powys, well worth it and on next weekend I think.
Underneath the stars was last weekend, so you have missed it this year, but I recommend it without hesitation. Lots of family activities, crafts, circus skills, entertainers etc etc oh and music
I've never hears of this before but just done a bit of research after your suggestion and it sounds fantastic, thank you so much for sharing.
Kendal Calling has lots going on for families. There’s a dedicated family camping area & a separate area inside the main arena “Kids Calling” There’s a cinema showing themed films over the four days aswell.
We saw hundreds of families over the course of the festival all enjoying themselves (despite the rain & mud, but it is the Lakes!) Beautiful setting too x
This definitely sounds like it could work for us. Thank you so much for sharing. I will do a bit more research on it. Love the cinema idea!
