Can anyone recommend a good film for tonight. I like comedies or thrillers. I’ve got Netflix there too much choice.
"The Week of" is quite good on Netflix.
It's a comedy from and starring Adam Sandler, it's never going to trouble the Oscars but it's an ok watch.
blacklabrador I like Adam sandler. Just when I need something that’s easy to follow and have a laugh at.
I watched Zodiac on Netflix last night. I think it is new to the channel. Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jnr are in it. It's long - about 2hrs 30mins but I thought it went fast. It's about the serial killer who was sending letters to the newspapers in the US back in the 60s/70s.
MartinSwift I had heard of the killer but didn't really know anything more than he did ciphers and sent them to newspapers until I watched the film.
My OH is looking excited to watch Deadpool on netflix tonight. I think its comedy-ish with action. Not sure. Not sure I'll enjoy it either

I enjoyed Upgrade, which is now available on Netflix. A bit slow at the start, but then gets a little crazy.
MartinSwift What did you end up watching? We can add some different options if you list some of the recent ones you have watched.
sunny101 had to watch ‘How to get away with murder’. It started good but on the 5th season they seem to be concenting more on the relationships in the couples. It’s better when they are killing by accident. LOL. I do like how they reveal a bit of the murder little by little.
MartinSwift I know what you mean about the plot and reveal. Ok will drop some here when I remember them.

Yh I enjoyed cobra kai watched the first two series can't wait for the third too come out
Another one to suggest is the mini-series The Night Of. A very good thriller. Think it's about 5 episodes

Da 5 bloods - vietnam war film where veterans return to find gold they buried during the war. Excellent film if your type of thing
