How Do You Find Deals to Post?

Other

Hey all.

Fairly new to the site and my first chat post. So... I was wondering how you find deals to post. Would you be looking for something yourself and stumble across deal. Do you delib try find 3 deals to post here for points. Do you just scour amazon and the likes or do you use other deal websites to find deals.

I like the points system but I'm actually more into getting good deals out for people. Little addicted to it lol. Anyone else a bargain hunter addict? Hope this meets you well and you and yours have a great 2019.

Hi Dublish....welcome. I can only speak for myself but I am a competition freak and many, when you enter, want you to sign up to their emails. Over the months I now get too many, sometimes 60 in a day but lots are offering me deals or bargains or alerting me to a sale so I share them. Many folk would not like loads of emails but I don't find it too tedious as I delete most without reading after posting a few deals.

You could also just go to websites of favourite stores etc and see what's on offer.

Lots of googling and price comparison sites helps me find deals.

Lynibis thanks. I'd have two separate email addresses for that that kind of thing myself. But Id not be a fan of the sign up deals myself. Too much hassle for most of the time a reward that doesn't match the hassle. Unless you have some decent ideas you can share. deepcore sounds grueling man. Fair play though. How ever they can be found is better than not finding at all. We are paying far too much for items these days.

Hi Dublish and welcome to the Latest Deals Community,

I’m a fairly prolific deal poster on here, having done so for a couple of years now, with several thousand posts under my belt.

What’s frustrating about posting new deals is finding someone has already beaten you to it, especially if you write the deal and prepare an image without checking if it has already been posted. I still do that now. Doh!

I now have 100+ sources I use regularly – these include high street retailer’s own websites, online only retailers' websites, newspapers, email newsletters / blogs, retailers’ email promotions, price comparison websites, email price alerts I have set up for popular products, sites that monitor stock levels, other deal sites, voucher code sites, and more.

After a while you’ll discover some retailers like Amazon, Currys, Robert Dyas , Boots, Superdrug, Argos etc. put their latest and best deals on their homepage, so finding new deals that way is very easy and a good place to start. It’s worth looking for deals in the outlet / clearance section of many retailers’ websites too.

I like to research and add my own ‘unique’ deals where for example I’ve spent a few minutes researching the cheapest price for a video game console, a certain size Smart TV, an American Style Fridge Freezer, or for rarely discounted products like Chanel No.5. Sometimes I’ll post stuff I’m buying or have just bought for myself or for birthdays etc.

Very often I see a brand new deal that I’ve just posted on Latest Deals appear on another deal site within just a few minutes of my post! Good deals do tend to get shared fast amongst deal hunters. Revealing all my sources would help Latest Deals’ Competitors (and would probably help even more people pip me to the post) so it’s probably better not to do that in Chat.

I also follow the seasons to some extent, posting toy deals before Christmas, chocolate before Easter, school uniform before the new term, flowers before Valentine’s – stuff like that. Of course sometimes the best deals can be found out of season – such as lawnmowers when the grass has stopped growing and BBQs once it’s too cold to use them.

I’m rambling... hope this helps you a bit.

Happy deal hunting and posting!

Johnny😊

Would you say you earn more on latestdeals in the form of Amazon vouchers compared to having a real full time job in the real world?

cetiyo if using a PC esp vs phone it's actually fairly fast to post deals here. Also if you are clever with things you can find deals easier so you don't spend all day looking. I'd spend maybe 10 min a few times a day checking my links etc. Sometimes there is good stuff others is just basic.

Hi All. I usually find deals when I am just shopping around for bits for myself anyway and if I come across something I think is good value and other people might too I will share. I sometimes spend 20+ minutes just mooching through a few websites for good deals. I love sharing them with other people and hearing that people have benifited from my deal I share 🙂 x

Hey folks. Tnx for the replies. As they say sharing is caring. Johnny I too use specific software or websites to find my deals. And like you mentioned deals are already posted so fast I dont wanna give my own personal weapon away on open forum. But I do also just scour the net and sites for good deals.

I wouldn't post just every deal I find. Usually ones that have a cheap low price or a really good % off. I find if you post fairly expensive stuff even if its a good price most ppl still don't buy for 1 reason or another.
