What is the First Channel You Switch to When You Turn on the Tv?

Ask a Question

What you turn on your tv, what is the first channel you switch to and why? Mine is almost always ITV1. I watch a lot of their shows, especially the soaps so it make sense to turn there first!

I rarely put on the tv for a live station. I use a firestick. When I do though I always head straight to BBC News before having a flick through the channels. I am normally heading to Film 4 or Sony Movie Channel.

We have plenty of TVs but actually rarely use them. I personally use my tablet more often as a handheld TV to watch shows and movies.

Shows I love to just put on and watch:

  • The Office (U.S.)
  • Trailer Park Boys
  • My Name is Earl
  • Malcolm in the Middle

Live TV channels kinda died for me. Nothing really of value, tbh.

For news? Russia Today and CBS.

Live tv is kind of dead these days but if I'm going to watch it I'll probably see what films on film 4 before flicking through the channels

I usually have it on SKY News or BBC News first. I only watch ITV1 if there is a film on that I want to see.
