First Job

Hello there...
It's almost week-end .I can't wait..
Guys, how old were you when you had your first job?
13 many many years ago when the world was a different place I worked weekends mucking out stables at a local race horse yard 4am start til 2pm and after school I used to work at a local mink and ferret farm from 4 til 8. Did both jobs for 3 years til I left school to work at a meat factory full time. They all shut down many years ago.
15, i used to work on a saturday in a jewellery and piercing shop. Had to pay for the train there and back and only earned £15 a day
I used to work in a milk bar (as the local corner shop was called) that had a large machine for mixing milk shakes and I loved doing this. I worked there between the ages of 13 and 15 at weekends but we were so hard up my parents took all the money so I was virtually working for nothing! (oh and it was run by the parents of my first ever boyfriend who finally plucked up the courage to ask me out just before we left to come back to England!)
16, I worked in Claire's Accessories as sales assistant and ear piercer and then was promoted to Key holder (Basically most senior at the weekend) and offered the assistant manager position all in the space of 2 years. I declined and went to uni instead.
I worked as a waitress in a cafe when I was 15, then went to tesco when 17, then a hotel at 18 whilst I was at uni.
19, bar staff in a crazy golf place. Wasn't there for too long, absolutely hated it most days. Took 2 members of staff to train me and they still missed bits out completely, management was a mess, the list goes on.
11 and I worked for 11 hours on a Saturday for £11, way before health and safety came in properly, it was a deli and I used the sharp meat cutter all the time, we cooked tripe and chitterlings and pease pudding. Can't think why I don't eat meat now. Did fancy my co-worker though so got me through the day
I was 24 and i worked as customer services in a call centre for a mobile network. I was pregnant when i left school at 17 so was at home with my son until he started school at 3, then i did 3 years at college training to be a hairdresser and barber.
