First Record
Ask a Question
what was the first record/cd you ever bought? For some reason mine was Michael Jackson's Bad because I thought he was a cool dancer
I was out shopping with dad and he asked if I would like a single but I was torn between Bachelor Boy by Cliff Richard and Green Green Grass of Home by Tom Jones, I chose the first one but strangely enough I am no longer a fan of either of them.
First one i had when i was about 7 and i had a record player for xmas - was mr blobby and another one that goes βlast night i heard mama singing a song, ooo eee chirpy chirpy cheep cheep.
garygemmell haha dont get used to lol been told im an argumentative ******* lol
chelseaturpin Makes two of us then!
We shall just be polite and agree to disagree then!
garygemmell i prefer older bands like the clash, the buggles, the beatles, depeche mode and phil collins. I listen to a lot of stuff my dad grew up listening to.
chelseaturpin My fave groups are Erasure, Depeche Mode and Yazoo Vince is a genius and i fancied Alison Moyet especially in the Black Leather jaykit what a voice she has - so we agree on more than you think lol
But i dont think you would like my fave fave modern music ie Armin Van Burrin, Tiesto and my fave tune of all time Basscult - Paradise or the best DJ Sven Vath.
Sorry ex 90's raver and Ibiza rave bunny!Β¬
Canny do the beatles they do my head in and as my dad used to say "nettle rash music~" haha
But i do do a bit of Runrig, The Corries, Shona Laing, Tracy Chapman, Clint Black, Andrea Bocelli and a smattering of Mozart!
I am weird it is true but different is good!
1st single was Land of Make Believe, Bucks Fizz. First album would have either been the first Now That's What I Call Music or Culture Club
Culture club xxxx
Love the older music not a big fan of 'newer stuff' always had my dad play records from when he was growing up. Im a big fan of the beatles, david bowie, blondie and michael jackson. But my first CD had to be britney.
Sad to say it was a year or two ago now but it was Sugar sugar by The Archies, I still enjoy it today.
