Flying Car
In the News
It's only ever a matter of time before science fiction becomes science fact.If you have a spare £600,000 you might want to invest in Air Car.It needs a runway at present so cannot run on regular roads(er yet!) but once in the air can fly for 612 miles or so.I am reminded of Dr Emmet Brown in Back to the Future when he exuberantly declares "Where we are going Marty. We don't need roads"

600,000 wow that's expensive, in a couple of hundred years or less everybody will be flying around like this

MelissaLee1 I would have thought so, they need to invent a faster plane, it's takes hours to get anywhere lol I get bored after an hour and I cannot sleep in planes

martinlufc5637 Air car reaches 155 mph .It would scare the pants off me. Somehow a big metal plane seems more sturdy.

I guess it will be improved over the years to take off vertically like a Harrier jet. I will be long gone before it's in general production but as I won't get on an aircraft you certainly wouldn't get me in one of these!

Lynibis Top Gear in a half century or so.Someone with a Type A personality.I like feet and buses lol.

Having watched the smaller planes taking off and landing today, this is not something I want to get in I'm sure it's safe but they move so easily with a little bit of wind and it looks hard to navigate.

The jetsons predicted this more than 60 years ago amongst other things lol
What five things did The Jetsons predict?
Here are 10 things “The Jetsons” got right about our tech-enabled lives.
Flying cars. ...

Vertical cities. ...
Smart bathrooms. ...
Robot assistance. ...
Smart homes and appliances. ...
Video meetings. ...
3D printed food.

I doubt many people have a large enough drive sorry runway to accommodate this flying care.

Too me this is so worrying. We have accidents on the roads so the last thing we need is any Tom **** or Harriet being able to get one of these and fly. Hopefully will not happen in my lifetime.
