Flying Car/No Pilot's License Needed
Other
You can now buy a flying car for £76,000 – Not sure about UK rules but in the US you don’t need a pilot’s licence to fly one. Sweden’s Jetson Aero is selling the Jetson One, a single-seater with 20-minute flight times and a top speed of about 63 mph. Its first production run has already sold out, but the firm is taking orders for 2023. The vehicles are delivered only 50% assembled, leaving customers to finish putting them together themselves. That’s why buyers don’t need a licence – technically they aren’t required for “homebuilt single-seater aircraft”.

This doesn't seem safe considering the commercial airplanes are tracked at all times and for a good reason.
Drones are another one and there are 'war' drones.

PhilipMarc Me too a little uneasy at the prospect of ungoverned flying machines.

MelissaLee1963 Uber is apparently looking to get into the business of "air" taxis.
The sky may become very busy which could be awful for home/apartment residents and traveling via planes (this is noisy as it is for those who live near them).

PhilipMarc I live quite near a Heliport and am on the Gatwick flightpath so gets quite noisy up my end.

I will wait until they sell them off or do a 99.99 percent discount code. I would be happy to be a product tester.

Howmuch Always someone lol.I'd be petrified but then I don't even drive,

These can only be for the mega rich , lets hope they are not allowed without a licence , i can forsee many accidents occuring if training or legislation is not required

cool. And relatively affordable for those with money to burn. This is the future now lol

I would not buy one, I can't afford one but even if I could I wouldn't. I'm happy enough with a normal car, much cheaper and possibly safer. I can imagine that without needing a license this could be very dangerous.

I kinda want one, fully convinced however that I would die during my first outing in it though so I probably should not.

Perhaps 100 years ago they thought there would be personal flying machines today. It was often predicted that people would have the ability to fly straight from home. However I think the reality is we will be gradually pushed more into small ground based transport like bicycles and ebikes if possible and travelling greater distances will be reduced as more tasks are done online. If we are to tackle global warming we need to use only local resources more and not expect to travel the world perhaps exploring distant countries will be through virtual reality only for most people.
