Foodbanks
Ask a Question
Have anyone ever donated food to their local community food bank? More and more people depend on these donations nowadays, which is heartbreaking
Not donated directly to food banks, but I always try and remember to buy and put something in the food bank boxes at Tesco.
I have donated a few bits here and there but not much. I randomly get free sanitary products sent to my address which I dont use or need so I donate them once I've built a bag full.
My local tesco have a trolley for donations always try to put something in and a good amount around Christmas time
At the beginning of the pandemic my husband and his colleagues all donated some money monthly to a food bank. This went on for about five months then a couple said they didn’t want to continue so it all stopped.
I don't know where our local foodbank is but it's great Sainsbury's/Tesco's provide a an area to drop off items and that's where I give stuff.

Costs you nothing but Amazon donate to them every time you shop. If you haven't heard of or don't use Amazon Smile, check this out and set it up now, takes less than a minute! smile.amazon.co.uk
You shop as normal through smile.amazon.co.uk and once you've selected a charity they donate when you shop
