Freebies for me ALL THE WAY
Competitions for me, I have been fortunate enough to have won some nice items.
The few Freebies I go for I never received, so I gave up.
Oh, try some trustworthy websites and see if it helps

Competitions for me. I only occasionally apply for a freebie, but LOVE the anticipation of entering competitions. I have won some great prizes over the years, that keep me motivated.
I much prefer freebies. Despite entering thousands of competitions, I’ve only ever won once, and the prize I got was the only one on the list (of over 100 prizes available) that I didn’t want/couldn’t use, so I gave it to a friend. The majority of freebies I go for I’ve received, on the other hand.
It’s so weird how my answer is basically the opposite of the two people that replied before me though! I guess we all have better luck with different things.
Regular comper by name, regular comper by nature. 
Though I like freebies also, when there's anything good going.

Another vote for competitions. It's always the first place I visit on here and I use other sites too. I've won a few decent prizes over the years, but I enjoy winning smaller prizes such as books too.
