Freezers, Bread Makers and Consoles
Other
From isolation buying patterns people are going to eat loads of bread (good luck getting the flour) eating ready made meals and hardcore gamers inside a toilet roll fort.
Why? If people are being forced to stay inside for weeks with nothing to do outside, there are limited opportunities inside. I can't think of much else that could actually match the varied fun you could have with a console (lots of different games) that can provide hours of entertainment.
MeestairChrees Produce music, build websites, drawing, photography, start a YouTube channel. They are of course productive activities. Let's not encourage that.
MeestairChrees A mate of mine started a website selling paint from home and now brings in thousands a month from it alongside his full time job. He also owns a games console. I think I've made my point. One more thing - nothing to do outside?! My neighbours gardening earlier must have been a figment of my imagination along with the bloke digging up his lawn and people doing car restoration and maintainence. Yep, nothing to do other than waste your life playing games.
Dennab sure, you can do all that, but what's stopping people from doing those and games if they want to? Let people do what they want. And gardening isn't a fun activity for many people, and most aren't going to have cars to restore.
MeestairChrees You said you couldn't think of much to do. I just provided a response to that and my opinion on games. I was playing Forza with my godson the other night. I simply said there is more to life. Enjoy your games.
Dennab I'm still working so no time for games or any of the other stuff unfortunately.
MeestairChrees Me too but from home so I have more time from the lack of travel. Surely you have your evenings, weekends or whenever you're not working.
My sons are gamers, they've already got the consoles, but very happy to be holed- up for 12 weeks with the games...but no toilet roll forts
Is flour selling fast then too? Why? Most people don't have bread makers. I have one already but rarely use it - was considering using it more if bread is hard to get hold of.
