A sausage maker? How did you source the skins?

I would love to make my own sausages, but it's just too much hassle.

My wife bought an ice-cream maker from a friend for some reason. I make my own ice-cream and sorbets, so I don't know why she got it.

Kitty10 This is a basic one ...

Some people add egg whites to the recipe to make it a bit more smooth.

The only thing with homemade sorbets is that you have to keep on stirring it at intervals so that large ice crystals don't form.

What's mine !!!! You want me to empty out my kitchen cupboards and check in the darkest depths for all the rubbish I have bought over the years ? Stuff I apparently could not do without ! Some of the stuff is older than the sell by date on my dustiest can of soup !

If someone tells you they are not a "mug " ask to see the back of their kitchen cupboards and see the useless "Tat" that hasn't seen the light of day for many years .

TheChimp It was mulligatawny , should be nicely matured by now ! The sell by date date was in Roman numerals.

TheChimp Not too sure you would like mine , but it is a very rare vintage . Not too sure if I dare open it ! Certainly not indoors .

I'll have to go check the top cupboard I can't reach as that's where the (mostly) unused appliances are stored. There's an old food processor in there for sure but can't think of what else

I've got an Andrew James ice cream maker that's really impressive and easy to clean.......that I've used three times in four years. 🙄 My one gadget that I use regularly and never sees the back of a cupboard is a blow torch.

I haven't got anything in my kitchen that doesn't get used. Our slow cooker, panini machine, air fryer and hand mixer all get used on a regular basis. I know that I will never use a sausage maker, ice cream machine, burger press etc so I've never bought one.
