Game of Thrones Books/audiobooks

I loved the series and I am wondering if the books will be worth reading or listening to. Any advice?
I tried to read the book. But it has plenty of complicated words in it. So probably it would be easier to listening to it. But then again if you watched series you kinda know the terms and what they talking about so either choice might work for you.
I would agree with this - my partner is obsessed with Game of Thrones so I decided to give it a go for him.. I really struggled to keep up with the bizarre names of places and people until maybe season 2-3.. I think if you watched the series you’d be fine knowing the names / words
sarahgreen15 that's what puts me off some books like this that its difficult to read and you have no clue
its the same with lord of the rings etc...

Last year I got my husband the Game of Thrones whiskeys & 
beccatavender you will be surprised to learn that they were a competition win! They are A4 card with a real stamp under each picture. Also got a set of the stamps, a few pictures and a calligraphy set containing quill and ink, wax and seal with tiny notelets so I can send messages via raven lol.
Love the House of Stark glasses and decanter.

Yes they are worth reading and I think you can get the set cheap enough from The Works, if you don't have a store local try their online website.
