Game2dl Review - Scam and Theft Website that Sells Stolen Keys and Accounts

Other

For some time now, I have been keeping track of Game2dl's Trustpilot (and other places, i.e., Facebook, Twitter, WoT, Reddit, Google, etc) out of curiosity if this digital game key re-seller would ever improve their customer service and on top of that, for the customers to also receive functional keys. But no, neither of those two things happened. I have come to the conclusion that Game2dl is a company that runs on theft and scamming gullible customers who think they're getting a good deal as it's cheaper than everywhere else.

The saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is" will never become invalid and in this day and age, it's more truer than it has ever been, the internet is an enormous playground and so you're bound to find all types of people trying to make money, some will be honest and genuine while others will be dodgy, scammers and even worse. Game2dl's method of selling digital games are through these two methods: First, they as most (legal) game key sellers sell keys (chances are if you're getting from Game2dl it won't work). And second, accounts. What exactly are "accounts" in this case? Well, it's either stolen accounts that work until the actual owner finds out someone else is using them (think of the stolen Netflix accounts that get sold on eBay) or Game2dl makes those accounts which work temporarily until they're banned since they're not legal either. Simply put, Game2dl needs to be avoided at all costs and yet, for the life of me, people still take chances of ordering from them and wonder why they're getting conned.

I know, it's great when there's an irresistible deal out there but you [the customer] need to do your research, and this is because, this scam company tries at all costs to reject give refunds (they use excuses like, "a refund is not possible" or "you will not get a refund") so do not give them your money, at all. If you simply search on Google for two minutes, for "Game2dl" you will see tons of customers who were wronged by them.

Now, this brings me to the aspect of the customer service quality of Game2dl, Game2dl's customer service on Trustpilot is appalling to say the least and they always try to suppress a negative review when the consumer in question didn't remember or preferred to keep out the order number for security reasons. Thankfully, the majority do include the order number and by doing so, Game2dl is unable to use that loophole of suspending legitimate reviews of consumers that they knowingly ripped off (not to mention the stolen keys and user accounts/credit cards).

In terms of written English by Game2dl's rep(s), it's very evident that they're not fluent in English as it's always riddled with typos and basic mistakes that anyone who learned English would have noticed.

Here are some examples of Game2dl's "quality" customer service:

• "as you can read in the product description of all our ps4 games. We sell them without warranty." (Trustpilot)

• "as far as i can see you have read the TOS. Unfortunately you haven't canceled your Order before we have send your product. You have tried to cancel it 5-6 days later. You won't receive a refund." (Trustpilot)

• "we are sorry for the inconvenience. What exactly isn't working anymore ?" (at Trustpilot -- And either the Game2dl can't read English or something because the consumer said quite clearly the password didn't work.)

• "what exactly doesn't work ? Please send us your error message. We will check it." (at Trustpilot -- Pulling the same excuse as above.)

• "it was clealry written in the product description at the time you have purchased the product." (at Trustpilot -- Customer no longer has access to account and this was their response.)

• "what exactly doesn't work ? Please contact our support and describe your Problem. We will find a solution." (at Trustpilot -- Another non-working stolen account)

• "before we send our games we check the accounts. Please send us your Order ID. We can check it again." (at Trustpilot -- In regards to a customer who bought an account and then that very account had its password changed.)

• "a refund is not possible. Please provide us with screenshots of your error message." (Twitter)

This could go on and on.

To all consumers, who try to get their money's worth, just pay the extra from an actual genuine digital game reseller and you will not have to face these horrendous outcomes from Game2dl. Buying accounts is an obvious red flag and not legal in any way at all.

Game2dl has also been found giving free Steam keys if users in return give them positive reviews on Trustpilot:

Consumer was given an account with a stolen credit card on it and it doesn't work.. What a surprise. I've tried to spread the word as well as others and yet, there's still people who buy from them anyway.
