What's the best Paint to use on garden ornaments?
I've tried notmal acrylic Paint and varnish but the paint has seem to crack and peel off.
Any suggestions? Would be grateful
My mum painted two of mine that were looking their age that she bought her me when I was younger ready for me to have at my house now but unfortunately she is no longer with us to ask
You can use Mod Podge to seal anything that goes outside. As long as its the waterproof Mod Podge. I've painted & sealed a few things (plant pots/ ornaments/ rocks) and coated in 3/4 coats of Mod Podge and always lasted. It dries clear too. Here's the link:
I've got a large concrete bird bath which was a grey colour. I used Wickes Masonry Smooth Sandstone paint and dabbed it on. It looks good and it's weatherproof. It looks just like this which I found on the internet https://www.gumtree.com/p/pots-ornaments/double-bird-bath-feeder/1409779686
