Gel Nails or Acrylic?

I've never had gel nails until today, my friend treated me to some for my birthday I think I'm in love. Normal nail polish always chips within a day with me, hoping these will last longer. Do u prefer gel or acrylic?
Gel definitely. I'm always happy with how long they look nice before they do start to chip. Btw Happy Birthday!
I don't get my nails done except for special occasions but I always go for gel nails. They last ages so i feel you get your money's worth.
I only get mine done on special occasions but always have had acrylic, because once the occasions over I can rip them off 
I hate the gels growing out seems to take forever!
i love gel ones and when i treat myself this is what i go for but they do take forever to come off i usally just buy cheap stick on ones inbetween as i find it much easier when you have to do them yourself
