something they will probably do over here at some point? Although it does seem pointless if there are people still queuing at supermarkets to get essentials

Probably a good idea i saw a guy getting his head smashed into a wall in Hope street today and his shopping stolen - terrible but thats Glasgow so no big deal!

Used to see a fight every Saturday night up at the Renfield street taxi rank and axe fights amongst the Chinese Triad community on the same street its got a bad rep!

Its only going to get worse - soon be taking a chib out with ye when ye go shopping and that is no joke!

My best mate is now carrying a tazer he has been attacked 3 times in Easterhoose this last 3 months!

Jeez it sounds wild where you are! We get things happen, the odd shooting or stabbing in broad daylight, but by the time I’m nearby, the police are already there so there’s nothing to see. There’s been news about people getting robbed for their toilet rolls, but haven’t personally witnessed anything like that

hspexy Nah I live away from the bad areas now but I used to go regularly to Easterhoose to see my mate Ian and there was always trouble every single time i visited (he had a baseball bat next to the front door - quite shocking first time i visited actually) so always a gambit whether the car would get keyed or a window broken or getting attacked late at night - its a bit like London each gang has its area and if you go onto it after dark you could get chibbed as we say up here but I am 6 foot 1 and ex bodybuilder so never really get much hassle except for bevy merchants and they are nay bother just humour them and give them some Glasgae friendly Patter and they usually go away and if they get aggressive a quick Empi Uchi to the chin usually puts them out cold...or kills you lol!

Thats nothing though just check this news story - Utterly mind boggling how dangerous our country has become!

I have a funny feeling my old Karate skills might come in handy if rioting and looting starts when the jungle pea brains start running out of food - those greedy food hoarders might not have the last laugh eh - makes you think , this is all like watching a movie - never thought the WALKING DEAD would become a possible reality - mind you in Glasgow East end its kinda like the Walking Dead for decades haha!

garygemmell yes you’re right. It’s certainly unreal atm, although I’m surprised the looting hasn’t started already - I remember the chaos of the riots and with kids no longer going to school (well, a lot would’ve just truanted anyway), they’ll be finding other ways to cause trouble. Definitely can’t keep them indoors

Precisely, people will still need to go to supermarkets and chemists. These are likely going to be the hotspots, not large open parks. Staying at home and not exercising for an extended period of time could potentially create even more health problems.

I agree. Some people will go crazy after hours of watching things online or gaming for hours, with no fresh air or natural light. If you can’t trust people social distancing outdoors, what about the things happening behind closed doors?

By the end of this month people are likely to be incredibly bored. Many will start to flout the restrictions if they are in place for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if we start to hear about modern versions of prohibition style speakeasies appearing 🍻

ACR People need to get an imagination. I could fill two years with the amount of home projects lined up.

Germany were one step ahead of us, just like they were with Aldi.
