Hi, I wear glasses and for the first time I bought some online. I think it was Glasses Direct and used one of their offers which are posted on this site. My glasses cost an amazing £10 including delivery and simple lenses. I had tried similar styles in Boots so knew they would be okay.

But what about the fitting, I always have to get mine fitted as they're always too big

SalmaS with such good savings to be made I would risk altering them myself. Just need some small screwdriver and a heated curling wand.

That is good I spend £ 240 on mine and I already need to get new ones as my sight has worsened. The price is great. Have always been nervous about ordering online. Scared what if they're too big on me. Or not how I accepted them to be

I get them from the opticians. Always buy when they have the two for the price of one glasses. I always go for a mid price range. My prescription hasn't changed in years so don't buy them often.

I use to buy from Specsavers bit then realised that Tesco opticians are cheaper with similar glasses so buy from them now. But they're still quite expensive and I usually have yo change my glasses at least once a year

SalmaS I used to get mine from tesco opticians too, as did my parents. Unfortunately our local store doesn't have an opticians, so I use our local opticians instead. Never bought any online though
