When Did You Start To Go Grey?
Ask a Question
are any of you girls and guys going grey- what age did it start? And do you like it? love it on everyone but me but thats maybe as ive only got a few which are making me look witchy not silver foxy!
I had my first when I was about 20 but then didn't get more than the odd one until I was over 30. It ramped up gradually from then on. I don't have enough to make it look anything other than a bit odd but still very obvious, so I colour it to blend it in a bit.
My brother is blond and older but has non yet- maybe its just because he is fair it isnt as noticeable i am hoping to get my revenge when his hairline starts receding.....
I dont like it, but i am fed up to get my hair done and within the days.... it is back again...
Was in my twenties when I noticed my first. I'm 36 now & I dye my roots every 3-4 weeks so I actually dont know how grey I am anymore & I dont want too lol.
Yup this is the way I am heading I hate colouring it though but dont know if their is another solution as I need to colour it every few months amd worried re damage, i would be fine if it all went grey overnight lol
Same as you: started in my 20s - I'm 37 and have been colouring monthly for years. And if I skip dyeing the roots by one week: .
My partner started going grey at around 30, he’s now 36 and i got him using some darkening shampoo to keep it a darker grey instead of going white so early on (as it was getting quite light!), but I love his hair, it really suits him
I am 36...second pregnancy made some of my hairs grey. Luckily in Ash blonde it not shows much.
I have friends with gorgeous grey hair but mine came through my brunette hair giving my hair the shade of a muddy puddle. I do colour my hair, not dark shades and I use a spray which bleaches the roots so I don’t need to recolour often.
I've got a few grey hairs nowadays I try to ignore them. Wonder typically how long before your first few grey hairs and a full head of grey hair?
Beats me - Grey hair is a sign of maturity and hopefully wisdom . Maybe the selfie obsessed snowflake generation don't get it - Trust me the posed "selfies" don't impress me in the least and can surely only impress very shallow people ?
