Going out. For months now me and friend keep saying we shall stay in at the weekend save some money and then we end up out. We get bored staying in

Staying in I hate going out, I just can't bear the smell of alcohol or the noise from drunks. I not been out for 16 years

I'd rather stay in now, it's becoming very expensive for a decent night out now, although I do enjoy eating out.

Oh as I’m ageing I prefer staying in with a good bottle of wine and watching a film on Netflix or catching up on tv series. I just can’t be bothered going to pub, too much noise, not getting a seat and being served cheap wine at the price a bottle would cost.

I must admit after working all week I love staying in and chilling. I find it very hard to be bothered to go out once I get home from work, although I sometimes do so in the Summer. The exceptions for me are family times. I will happily go to my sons and their families and today I am going for a meal with my granddaughter and then watching Emma at the cinema.

I enjoy going out & socialising when I do. Whether it's a nice meal with friends/family or live music with OH & son. However, Just can't beat a Friday evening unwinding in front of the box with some nice food & a few G&Ts after a tough week.

Loislane 🍅 🥕 🍅

Sorry just could not resist the temptation.

I am so immature - Girlfriend says i am the most immature "boy" she has ever met but that is what makes me different and interesting apparently!

I keep telling her "ALL MEN ARE JUST LITTLE BOYS" - Some are honest and some are not about it!

Loislane Yeah i used to be a bodybuilder for 20 years and i am now a bit of a fat bloater (or as my dad used to slag me off and say "hey son thats a bit of a brewers goiter you got there lol")

Up to 16.5 stone and feel awful so have arranged after 15 years to get back to the gym and start my bodybuilding again - I have plantar in my foot and those nasty tight pains under the ribs so not a good sign - the belly must go - got to get that sixpack back!

Well i am older than you but my motto is "i am 21 and every day is my birthday"

"Think young, stay young" is my second motto.

And my third - well thats a secret lol

Believe it or not i still go climbing trees and "acting like a five year old" as my dad used to also say lol

Nothing like a good tree climb to make you feel young .... or realise your old bones aint what they used to be lol

I think being able to keep a woman laughing and still be able to talk together about everything and anything is the secret to a good relationship - If that fails then you know its over!

As soon as the sleeping in separate rooms begins or not talking much then its finished!

I should really be an agony uncle lol

Loislane Yeah those full cheesey ones are the biz although the Americano hot salami ones are not abd either canny do the chicken topping ones though!

I make my own pizzas now - I use the Jamie Oliver (much as i hate to admit it) recipe for the base and make my own stuffed crust with Edam cheese and fave Pineapple and Ham lol

I have no shame - Pinapple and Ham stuffed cheese crust 20 inch pizza drizzled with Peroncino oil - now thats a real mans pizza!

I think i just put on a stone just thinking about it!

Loislane Yeah my girlfriend used to complain that i could at least have a meal ready for when she came home from work so i took up cookery courses 15 years ago and now am an excellent chef - i do Thai and Mexican mainly they are my faves but she is a veggie and has loads of allergies so she wont eat anything I make not even a Studenska pizza - cheese and egg to you and me!

Did a lovely steak au poivre last night and what did she do with my £7 steaks - yip put em in the oven with all her posh Waitrose veggie ready meal gear - do women not know you pan fry steaks in oil not in the oven grrrrr pure ruined my steak meal i had the sauce down to a tee perfect then had to slop it over grizzled steaks and didnt even have the steak juices to add to the sauce either - big disappointmend and £14 downt he swanee!

I do have a lobster thermadore and some lovely prime bag of massive £12 scallops so its either going to be Scallops in a lemon and parsley butter sauce tonight or Lobster thermadore - i keep telling her she is so lucky to have a man who can fix the car, do all the diy , fix all the electrical items in the house - just repaired the plasma telly and saved us £700 on a new one , washing machine twice when she jammed it with those stupid colour catchers and broke the door now she has broken the window in the bathroom so its fix fix fix for me these days but she appreciates none of it - addto that i cook from fresh every night and well i keep telling her that most women would be amazed to have a man like me but she just laughs and says yeah until you start on with your OCD and moaning lol

Loislane Get onto youtube and learn it doesnt have to be expensive i get a lot of my gear from Asda yellow ticket bit you know the cheapo corner so you can actually make really nice meals for not a lot of cash

Bit of reduced price greek yoghurt 10p some spices £2 and reduced price chicken 1kg £1.16 - did a lovely Brazilian coconut curry last week for less than £3 and i used the full kilo of chicken mind so it lasted two days mind you i always add a lot of green for the base plate - Spinach, fresh red sweet peppers, some asda smartprice ordinary peppers and maybe some tomatoes and avocado if i am feeling flush lol

So you see you can do it cheap , healthy and it will help you lose weight, give you confidence and make life overall better than just doing the usual microwave ready nastiness!

Here have a go at these - these are from my speshal cookery bookmarks for next weeks meals:-

http://www.grouprecipes.com/55528/gordon-ramseys-sticky-lemon-chicken.html

https://www.yummly.co.uk/recipe/Sriracha-Glazed-Chicken-with-Mango-Avocado-Salsa-2568811?prm-v1&utm_medium=email&utm_source=seasonal&utm_campaign=Summer_Stone_Fruit

https://www.yummly.co.uk/recipe/Really-Quick-Beef-Fried-Rice-2313376#directions

Honestly give at least one a try - if you enjoy what you are making it will make you even more interested in finding new recipes and even inventing your own!!!

I am so good at optimising life to save cash I should set up my own website lol

But i am Scottish and we are as tight as a gnats.

"I AM SO TIGHT I WOULD NOT GIVE YOU A FRIGHT IF I WERE A GHOST" lol

Thats was one of my dads expressions lol he always had the best patter he was an amazing after dinner speaker and all round sportsman - I am but a mere shadow of his awesomeness and well my mum she was GOD - it is true mum is god it was her who taught me to sew, cook and learn history and all the things that make one erudite and aim high!

Loislane Asda 20:30pm is the optimum time for lowest price deals at my Asda and I am pals with a few of the till guys and gals - they all know Nutty Gaz and give me special deals - its the perks of being nice to people - most people treat the shop assistants and till guys and galls like rubbish up my way as I live in a kinda posh neighbourhood - funny that the people who have the most money are the nastiest people you will ever meet - probably why i prefer the real people in places like Maryhill and Castlemilk at least you get honesty from them and a bit of banter and not get offended when you crack a joke or two!

Got my fave Mothers Pride loaves for 10p and 6 Warbies rolls for 15p so i usually buy 4 or five of each then stick em in the freezer - the savings sure mount up - problem is you need a big freezer!

My maw only had one of these wee fridges with the tiny ice box so she could never do the freezer thing!

Mind you she was posh and only ever bought the best so never darkened the yellow ticket area lol

Loislane It might be an nice message but hey you, do not procrastinate now - which one are you going to have a try at making?

Listen to me now - I am giving you it straight - cooking is not rocket science - dont fall for all the poncy chefs and fudds like baldy Heston Twattenthal cooking is easy as long as you take your time, prepare everything slowly and follow the guidelines in the recipe and even if you dont follow them you can sometimes make something even more tasty than the recipe.

Crikey sometimes when i have nowt in the cupboard i just stick it all into a slow cooker and mix it up and it tastes fine and dandy!

So whats it to be?

I think you should try this one:-

Loislane Stop putting yersel down hen!

I am going to give you some Anthony Robbins personal tutoring.

Number one - always be positive - even when you dont feel like it!

So never use negative words like but , maybe , cannot, wont

Say I can , i will , it is - positivity - do it every day and you will lift your spirits

I used to think all the neuro linguistic stuff was nonsense but i did the Anthony Robbins scourse and the brain training course and it was amazing - after only 3 days i could remember 100 items from the previous days list and used it along with listening to Mozart (Any Baroque music will work) - it basically synchronizes your brain waves to help you learn - I learned how to speak Italian & Slovak in less than 3 months so it does actually work!

Famous Hungarian scientists (forget his name) proved it with 300 volunteers as long as you can speak at least 300 words in one language then you can converse in that language its a very interesting course to learn and it allegedly helps alzheimers and prevents the onset of brain diseases by keeping your brain active and firing the synapses!

I did the course (for free of course lol) and it works!

It will boost your confidence and help in all areas of your life!

I should really become a personal life coach I am giving away all my secrets today!

Must be the nice company lol
