Are You Any Good at Ice Skating?

I’m not, so I’m not likely to pay the high prices to embarrass myself on the ice rink
however, if I get cheap or free tickets for skating, i could be convinced to perform!
I'm not very good, but on the few occasions I've been it's a lot of fun. Most people on the ice will also have low level skills and lots of people will fall on the ice at least once. But, there is always going to be at least one child that puts everyone else to shame as they effortlessly whizz around the rink 
Lol I know what you mean - the one that effortlessly glides along the ice doing pirouettes backwards. Im that person who can’t help but fall a few times...
I used to go to lessons when I was younger and have certificates & used to have my own set of skates! I havent gone in a while but when I go back every couple of years I’m still not too bad :-) it’s something I really enjoy but rarely end up going, my partner has a dodgy ankle due to a break years ago and the balancing really irritates it and it’s painful for him.
Have you ever been rollerblading? There’s a roller blading disco once every month in a Hall not far from where I live. Only been once but it was so much fun!
Lol I’m not good at rollerblading either - I’ve got a pair and they’ve not been touched in years. Being afraid to fall is my main problem! But I will gather my courage one day to get better at it
Well I wouldn't say I am very good at it but I love doing it 
I don't often end up doing it but when i do it always makes me feel better about winter 
same here - it’s definitely one of the more festive things you can do this time of year...although I don’t do it if it’s too expensive
Since I usually go skiing in the Swiss alps every winter I would say I'm proficient at ice skating to say the least. The former more dangerous of course.
Me too. I guess I don’t get enough chances to practice, so it’s hard to get better. I have rollerblades which I haven’t touched for years...definitely not going to get better at skating if I can’t blade
Lol I think I worry about breaking every part of my body...and perhaps knocking out others by accident in the process 
I used to love going ice sharing as a child but not done for years so unsure if i could do it now. It's too expensive now to find out!!
