Is It a Good Idea to Air the Film Contagion?

I vaguely remember it, as it was a film I watched nearly 10 years ago, and most of the storyline was based on the 2003 SARS outbreak, but it probably feels quite relevant now
is it a good idea to air it now?
Yes its a great idea although I am hoping for yet another repeat of World War Z, The Omega Man, Zombieland : Double Tap, Shaun Of The Dead and I am looking forward to episode 14 of THE WALKING DEAD this very day!
Did you not see the movie EXTINCTION last night they seem to be taking the jimmy riddle!
All very prophetic dontya think - people have been egging an apocalypse on for years!
I am also going to go out and film the deserted streets with my Gopro and make my own Zombie apocalypse youtube vid I am calling it the WEEGIE Dead!
That should please some of my ahem "fans" on here!
You see we are definitely different people thats why some folks on here dont like me because in Scotland we laugh at the devil and poke the eye of fate and bonk the nose of disaster as we have had so many for centuries as well as the repression by the English its why the Irish are our brothers and sisters.
Whilst being English its all panic and seriousness - up here we just laugh , crack a sarcastic joke, resign ourselves to being screwed again like the poll tax , nuclear reactors, Highland clearances etc etc etc and get on with things!
I will go out laughing not cowering and moaning that i dont have enough TP or Pasta so I say come on Corona-V.... if you think yer hard enough!

Yeah the new one is not as good as the first one but they never are are they!
Janhrrs Yeah did you see the rich building all their underground bunkers that billionaire with enough food stocked for 10 years for just him and his wife and kids and a complex so large it would cover 10 football fields - yeah a few people laughed but they arent now!
And the ones who laugh at all those survivalists living in the desert in America or the end of time Dday-Preppers bunkers being sold for a fortune , i bet peeps are wishing they had bought one now!
The looting has started in London as well i did post a topic but they removed it - i presume they dont want to panic people but its stupid, people should be aware that there are gangs going around robbing food now - Gives people warning to get thatr baseball bat ready at the front door , I have been ready for years!

I am having a laugh.
I guess its just our family or perhaps a Scottish thing but I am not worried in the least in fact I am more happy than I usually am because the streets are empty of all the ferals around here and its totally peaceful you can hear a pin drop morning noon or night!
That will probably offend some usually the old misery guts auld grannies on here as usual - funny isnt it people get angry when others are happy but I always try and fire out happy vibes and gee people up even if i feel sh** its just our way up here we are so used to disasters we just laugh it off no point in going "oh woe is me" best get yer arse in gear and fix things and keep busy dontya think!

Try watching a documentary called Genesis : Paradise Lost one of the most uplifting things I have seen in years really I had a tear in my eye - Big Jessie eh haha
Even if you dont believe its quite thought provoking especially the scientific stuff that proves the earth has only been there for 6000 years and not millions like they think!
I think because i am religious i am not afraid of death and believe there is something better after this life so all this doom and gloom doesnt affect me at all or my brothers but so many people have left God now and have no faith in anything that is why they are so miserable - makes you think doesnt it - its better to believe in something than have nothing!

I bought one for ยฃ69 in the Black Christmas sale and have put a few games on it but believe it or not I have only played Forza 4 (the demo) for 15 minutes the other night lol
What a waste - I am so busy doing other stuff Ihavent had time to play STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II which is what i bought it for.
Always wanted one one of these since we used to play it in the arcades in the 90's!
So STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II and and XBOX is the closest i can get as that old cabinet is ยฃ4000 now!
Try doing a few crafts keep you busy its sitting in front of the tv all day or just sitting that makes you depressed and down you need to keep your mind busy - I have been ordering loads of new stuff - Got some rice lights and raided the neighbours Glass recycling bins and am making these:-
This months hobby is candle making i have loads of old wax so have seen a sexy mould called "THE LOVERS" so am going to start making scented candles next month once the oils arrive!

garygemmell I didn't see that bit, I'm going to look again. I just hate the way something like this brings out the worse in people, wtf is wrong with them. London is not good, I still have family there that I worry for. I'm London born and bred but moved away when I had my eldest. I wonder why it was removed, surely people realise that it goes on? I remember Brixton riots particularly as living near to them as I expect you do with Glasgow? Society does break down far too easy and quickly, sadly. Not to mention half the stuff that went on in N. Ireland but no we are civilised Baseball bat I lived in a bedsit with my ex in Brixton, one hot summer night someone decided to shimmy the drainpipe to the open window. They had a very angry, half naked Irish man waving his Shillelagh out the window at them shouting at the feckin scum to feck off.

You only have to go onto the darknet and see all the posts by real Chinese dissidents saying its hell on earth and its getting worse yet our BBC and Channel 4 are trying to calm people by saying ridiculous things like no new cases in a country of 2 billion people - FOR REAL?

Ity can be hard sometimes I am always laughing and happy cracking jokes and being sarcastic i even had a guy at work complain about me because i was always happy and laughing and he found it "disturbing" - people are sad isnt it i get the same thing from some of the auld grannies on here even threatening me because I use to many lols - it means laughing out loud - so is that a bad thing?
Sad people but it never puts me off we Scots just keep goinmg its why the Engleesh put the scots regiments into the battle first as we just forge ahead and die like flies with a laugh and a two finger salute!

I was once in the 9-5 depressing and boring office drudgery - I was even a busw@nker!
I did it - i retired when i was 40 and went to eastern europe to metal detect and adventure the world.
Its even on my Linkedin profile a big two fingers up to my old incompetent bosses and some of my old office colleagues who stabbed me in the back - its funny though because they have all been checking my profile out for years - probably wishing they had done the same thing!
I have been to every country in eastern europe and most in europe learned to speak two new languages and ate fresh home grown food even camped out in mountains and forests drinking from fresh streams in the Tatra mountains it put 10 years back onto my life , I even drove a Russian T-34 tank for a days fun but then I am strange I enjoy anything that is a bit out of the ordinary and what most folk would not want to do - then i came home and well....
Its living in these concrete jungles suffocated that makes people down even the ones that live in those little estates full of big houses and tiny littlepostage stamp gardens - all the trees cut down to make way for driveways - we have destroyed our own happiness in the pursuit of money and greed!
Must be hell living in a concrete jungle in London Tower Hamlets now that is my idea of hell and all the ferals roaming around stabbing people for a few quid - I cant imagine anything worse - I hope you are not there?

Shoot - I lost the plot years ago - its much better fun than having a plot it makes life so much more interesting when you dont know what is coming day to day - its the 9-5 same old day eat, sh1tt, sleep that is losing the real plot!

Its funyn all my friends who used to go raving with me have moved on to Oasis and would find this brain damage now - me i could still go raving and back to ibiza every year if my girlfriend wasnt such an old bore - she is in her 30's but she acts like some of the auld grannies on here - goes to her bed at 9-10pm every night and i am 10 years older and still stay up to 3am and listen to my techno!

I don't see why not, it was probably scheduled for that time slot before the UK outbreak. It easy enough for overly anxious viewers to change channels if they don't want to watch... I would also suggest these people shouldn't watch Die Hard 2 the night before a flight 
yes, there is certainly no harm in showing the film. I won't be watching it though, as I don't recall it being very good. I would prefer something a bit more fun, like Shaun of the dead

Last night two guys tried to break into our garage and failed then tried the house - thankfully my brothers are back from Afghanistan and lets just say the CRIMS wont be coming back...ever!
Time to get ready the crims are getting ready as the police numbers are falling and cannot respond - my girlfriends work had an attempted breakin last night they cut the electricity supply to the shop but couldnt open the shutters.
Its looking pretty grim!
