Virtual The Grand National 2020

In the News

Did anybody watch that? It was amazing! The animation looked so good they should give the horses a break every year. I had a bet on Aso... 🙄

Sorry Lynibis your comment was lost when my last topic on this was incorrectly deleted. The site thought it was a duplicate post which technically it was, from a year ago 😄

I was only saying that I didn't bet but was watching as I wrote that last comment. Also that I remembered Tiger Roll's first win when I was staying with my sister, she won lol.

Think it's a much safer option.

Really don't like the way the horse are whipped during a race.

Me and the other half had a few small bets and made £34.

I feel guilty because all the profits made from the betting firms are going to the NHS, so it feels as if doing the NHS over even though the winnings come from the gambling sites.

Times are hard at the moment and my partner hasn't been paid for weeks and is on furlough, so we really need the cash.

It was only supposed to be a bit of fun, but now I feel like crap if I don't donate the money.

TheChimp I was thinking that if I won it would be awkward. However, if you need the money, you need the money. Donate 10%. That's a fair compromise! They've had a tenner from my household though so don't worry too much.

Dennab Yeah, we're kind of worried at the moment.

Only getting around £500 a month at the moment to cover rent, council tax, bills, food and everything else. We can't cover it to be honest.

My partner's boss is absolutely useless, so we haven't got a clue when we'll get any money from her furlough.

Anyway, there's people a lot worse off than us.

The landlord and the council are going to have to suck it up for a while because we don't have the money.

And I don't have enough pasta.

TheChimp I already said to one person on here - no landlord is going to try and kick anybody out over rent at this time. Move it to the bottom of your priority list. That's my view anyway!
