Gravy on Fish and Chips

Wow never heard of anyone having Gravy with Fish, quite common on chips on it's own or with Pie or sausage , but Fish, not for me.

My friend (from Durham) loves gravy on fish. I like it on chips though (leeds). Definitely popular up north but whether anywhere else I don't know

You have been talking with my husband! Every time we have fish he asks if I want gravy on it. We have never actually had it. I know it is popular with chips but don't know if I would want it on fish

I dont eat fish, but gravy on chips I don't mind but it is a northern thing, i prefer mayonnaise or curry sauce. Id like to try chips, cheese and gravy

Gravy on fish and chips sounds awful (but then I don't like gravy). If I do it at home it's most likely ketchup and if it's from a takeaway it's a curry sauce
