I used to use either Veet, no idea if that is what it is still called, or the Boots own make. Both were great. Sometimes need to do it twice as doesn't get all of them first time.

MrsCraig thanks will they be good for a 13 year old? Coz I used it once and it burnt my legs

Leannexxx I would have been about that age when I first used them. I would recommend testing a small area first and if there is no reaction then it will be OK to use.

Leannexxx only other suggestions are Nair Tough Hair Coarse/Dark Hair Removal Cream or Veet Men Hair Removal Cream, Sensitive Skin. A quick google for alternatives came up with these top runners Woo Woo Tame It. Boots. Hoosh.

I’ve used Nair in the past and it was ok. I found it all a bit messy and smelly though. I just find the easiest way is wet shave with razor in bath/shower.

JLouM I'm just worried if she cuts herself to be honest I've got her a electric razor but it's not a closer enough shave for her

Leannexxx Ah ok yes. When I was growing up I just had an electric razor. Some are better than others. Could try wax strips- messy too and slightly painful but but closer. Depends on pain threshold and if she can get used to it. I have an epilator that plucks like tweezers but that can be very painful and have to do it right and get used to it but only on legs. I only use occasionally though when don’t have time to wet shave.

You can get those wax strips , they might be worth a try, I think veet do them plus sensitive skin

Can I ask what hair she is trying to remove? I have used creams in the past and apart from the smell they work well. Can she not use an electric razor? Years ago I used to use silky mits on my legs. It made them really smooth.

eyeballkerry it's her legs and armpits she's got a electric one but it pulls and doesn't shave that close to her legs she's got thick hair

Using the cream can use up the £s. It’s cheaper and quicker to buy some disposable lady shaves.
