Happy Planet Biodegradable Wetwipes
Money Saving
Now, I’m no a complete eco warrior but I do mY bit and try my hardest. I am a huge fan of anything that helps the planet and I have recently found some wet wipes in Aldi made entirely from plant material and 10% of sales go to removing plastic from the ocean! They’re called happy planet wipes. Amazing! but they’re sooooo expensive to buy. Luckily on offer in Aldi at the moment . And though sceptical I did buy a packet and they are the best wet wipes I have used. Wanted to share with everyone they were amazing and reduced in price at the moment
How much are they? These sound fab. How would you dispose of these? In the compost bin? If you put it in the black bin, it will just go into the landfill anyway.
£1 something Not much different to pampers or huggies I’m honest. We have a compost bin however they are made from plant fibers so even if they end up in landfill will it make much difference?
lauren958 If you put them in a black sack before it goes to landfill, that black sack needs to disintegrate before your wipes will make it back into the soil. Surely the point is that it goes back to composting? I'll be looking out for these. Thanks for the heads up.
GlitchHunter ahh I understand now. Hmm unsure how to properly dispose of them if I’m honest the only thing the pack says is not to flush which goes for all wipes anyway
