There is a HUGE fly in my house and it has been harassing me for 24 hours now. Everywhere I go, it follows and just wants to be near me. It doesn’t want to go out of open windows or doors. I feel it may be a Russian spy device 
(just kidding about the spy device part, but seriously would appreciate it leaving me alone

I am reliably informed by Google that the lifespan of the average house fly is 4 weeks . Let's hope it is already 3 weeks and 6 days old!
I had a very similar thing the other day. It was on my phone when I picked it up and then kept landing on me. Normally when you go to swot them they are off but this one just wanted to be near to me.
I had one in the garden the other night that wouldn’t leave me alone I ended up blasting it with the hose just to get it to stop landing on my bare legs.
Oh my goodness I have been hearing a fly in my kitchen on and off for the last couple of weeks, even had my partner trying to hunt it down but to no avail, all went quiet again until yesterday when that buzzing sound started again, still couldn't work out where the noise was coming from until I opened one of the filter covers on the cooker hood and my god we were dive bombed by flies, I shot to the window to let them escape but it was like something out of a horror movie. Still not sure whether I had trapped one in there and it had laid eggs or whether they came in from the outside. Bloody horrible experience though, scared the life out of me. lol.
