Harry and Meghan Show off There Baby Boy
In the News
I notices Harry was carrying the baby. And Meghan was just touching his head. And what did she look like. That dress was all full. And it looked like she 2nd not brush her hair. She looked just she had been drag through a brush. The baby photos was ok to a point. She did not look happy at all. She just put on the smile. And just said a few words. to think she had to days rest you would have thought she would have look a loot better then she did. When Kate had her 3 children she was out showing the world within a few hours And she looked lovely. You would never think she had given birth at. Meghan has all ready made the queen not happy at all over this. Her mother is going to be the one to look after it. I can't see Meghan change nappy. It will be down to Harry. And I think there is trouble brewing. And it's not going to end well. Watch this space. What do you make of it all.
I'm afraid I couldn't really care less. But you are right there is trouble brewing in that household.
She just gave birth so must be hard for her as this is her first baby, also its clear that british media and British people do not like Meghan simply because she is American and mixed race beautiful woman! ive seen a lot of white people tear Meghan down just because she’s not fully White like Kate is! Theyre both beautiful and have a lot of pressure on them through media and loads of people telling them how they have to be but then again people love to compare women and tear women down simply because they’re women, Period
well said, think it is disgusting to judge someone so harshly especially someone that you haven't even met
another baby for tax payers to pay for privvaleged upbringing with nannys who bring them up
Having recently had a baby I can tell you that I looked a hell of a lot worse than she did after 2 days! It took me an hour to have a shower due to my c section, the midwife came to check on me as she was worried!
I liked the fact Harry was holding the baby, he has to bond with his son too.
Believe me, she has not had 2 days rest! Plus she might have had a hard labour and didn't feel like playing up to the cameras, we just don't know.
Plus being a first time mum is hard, her emotions are still all over the place.
I thought she looked great and showed how most mothers look at that stage, a bit dishevelled. Believe me there are some days when having a shower and being able to wash my hair feels like a luxury spa treatment!
Plus it isn't fair to compare her to others.
Well said, I think she looked amazing considering she hadn't long given birth, bodies don't naturally spring back to pre-pregnancy shape immediately, if at all and the difficulty in finding clothes that fit and are comfortable is a huge challenge, especially when all you want to do is get to know the new life that you have created
MrsCraig exactly! I don't actually have children but can still appreciate what first time mums and new mums with other siblings go through
MrsCraig definitely, bugs me when women are asked what they do for a living and they say 'nothing I am just a mum' I don't think anyone works as much as a mother does, regardless of the money situation
It's always great to hear that the baby is healthy and doing well. But apart from that, I couldn't care less about them either. I do not know any of them personally and it is highly unlikely that the kid is going to ever become a king one day. And he is no special than any other baby, despite the fact that he is 'Royal'. xx
The Royal baby was named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. So strange that they don't have a proper last name. I know every parent has the right to name their child as they want but for a Royal I would've expected something more 'worthy'.
elise Great name shows a certain amount of thought and originality too - Archie with an L added is an anagram of Charlie (after grandfather) and Harrison actually means "Son of Harry". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrison_(name)
davidstockport I love that it wasn't openly traditional as with other babies born in to the Royal Family but had hidden connections as you have pointed out. Could've been much worse
Meghan looked natural, she has just had a baby and wasn't ashamed to show off her post-partum body, which I applaud her for. She may not have been able to carry the baby due to issues from the birth, you are still hurting for a while afterwards and are advised not to do too much. To be so presumptuous just because you obviously don't like someone isn't nice. No woman should be shamed over her image, whether she is in the public eye or not, regardless of whether she will see the comments. People wonder why women feel they have to look a certain way and conform to the media standards, it is comments like that that make them feel that way.
Whatever family it has been born in to, it's a new life that has been created and should be celebrated.
MrsCraig nobody is perfect and until that person exists, nobody should be knocked down like that, I'm actually appalled that another woman could say it about anyone
elise I am disgusted by some things that have been said, things said coupled with a certain amount of ignorance, but happy to see there appear to be more who deplore such bigotry.
I agree with MrsCraig she looks fantastic - and I personally haven't seen any picture that remotely suggests Meghan (or Harry) are unhappy.
Not changing subject; but I see Danny Baker has been fired - it's a pity mere mortals aren't held more accountable for what they do and say online.
davidstockport totally, I normally keep quiet but found it so appalling I had to voice my disgust. I'm not a big royalist by any means, I appreciate why people don't like them but I also get how much they have to do that we don't hear about and you don't hear of many 93 year old women working these days, so fair play to them, I would hate to have that much responsibility personally. That aside, I think you could clearly see the love in Meghans eyes for both her baby and her husband, she didn't need to marry him for the money after all, she had enough from her very successful career which she has now had to give up, so hardly a gold-digger, she did look tired though as any new mum does. How can you make remarks about a person you don't know personally, only the person the newspapers portray?
As for Danny Barker, it wasn't that long ago that he was calling for people to be sacked when they made a comment about his cancer, nothing derogatory I hasten to add, just a mention of it. He clearly knew what he was doing and what message that photo sent out, hence the half-hearted apology he tried to make. I read his comments on twitter today after seeing the headlines and there is no remorse at all, just blaming others to try and deflect from his misdemeanour.
Anyone who makes comments online that hurt, harass or belittle someone, whether it is racist or otherwise should be held accountable as you quite rightly pointed out, unfortunately they never do and don't see anything wrong with what they say or how much it can offend others.
davidstockport like elise I am not a royalist either but I agree that they have a lot of responsibility and do things that we don't even know about. At the age of 93 I think the Queen deserves some respect for still working! Plus we don't know what goes on within the royal family, so how do we know that the Queen is annoyed with Meghan or that there is issues between her and Harry? She looks very happy in the photos and you can see the love in her eyes for her husband and son. Plus I think to comment on someone's parenting when you don't know them and they have barely got started is awful! Also to refer to the baby as 'it' is just wrong!
My husband showed me the tweet that got Danny fired and I'm very glad he was sacked as what he posted was racist. How on earth he thought it was acceptable to post something like that is beyond me!
Totally agree. I thought she looked great too. It has to be difficult to come out for the world to see a couple days after giving birth.
We do not know the background story, she was late with giving birth. Maybe she was induced etc...who knows.
Oh god im just glad its been born and hopefully it will soon be yesterday's news. It really is becoming boring !!!!
Nice to see they have a healthy baby, but apart from that I'm I have about as much interest in them as they probably have in me.
You sound a bit bitter tbh? Im not her biggest fan but She looked good after just giving birth and She needs a round of applause for being brave enough to wear white and high heels that soon.
Why o why is so much being made of the fact she was wearing a white dress. It was a photo call not a trek round Tesco. She was on stage for minutes, hardly hard work. She looked normal that's all.
