Have You Hated Something in Your Childhood but You Now Love It?
Ask a Question
I really really disliked mangos during my childhood and adolescent years but now it is one of my favourite fruits in adulthood! I never thought that I would like it nonetheless be my favourite?
Is there anything that you hated during your childhood or adolescent years but you now love it?
Mushrooms
Strawberries
I also hated cigarettes as a young child, grew to love them from about age 12, and now hate them again!
Rockman Yes I know but I hate cigarettes because my grandmother who was loved very much died of lung cancer as she smoked from her teenage years till she died. I was a child when she died but I still knew and remember her. She could not quit smoking as she was severely addicted to it. I understand that once you are addicted you can't stop but it is really important to do so. Smoking is really bad for many reasons. Also, because my mum was exposed to second-hand smoking she had problems with her lungs.
I get ya, smoking is really bad but some people get addicted to it for life and they can't get rid of it. Letgetfreestuff
hated mushrooms with a vengence but now cant get enough, make my own mushroom soup to with a little chilli in and its lovely.
Hmm in my childhood I went off prawncrackers coleslaw for so many years but now I have tried it again as an adult and I love it, both are so delicious.
Olives. Yuck they were the most disgusting things ever. Now they are in ever supermarket and I would eat more if I could afford them.
I hated rice pudding as a child, but now I really like it. However, my dislike of Sugar Almonds has continued into adulthood.
Custard and mayonnaise. I hated both as I just thought they were just glop and tasted of nothing but watered down fat. But now I’d happily drink the stuff...well, maybe not drink, but I’d have a sizable portion
