Hating Sand
Ask a Question
Hello just wondering if someone hates the sand so it is a nightmare going to the beach. I am on holiday and the only reason I go is because I have a toddler but I really hate it and try to leave asap.
I don’t hate sand but find it annoying when you are trying to keep towels/ blankets free from it and it does seem to go everywhere. I have a beach tent and that stops some of it getting onto your bags etc.
You can buy sand free beach mats which are suppose to help get rid of sand easily. Not sure if they work but worth a try.
I would love our local beach to have sand. Instead we have stones which is so uncomfortable to walk on. I’m not a beach person, give me the Forest anytime.
I love going to beaches but it has to be a fine sand, I hate beaches with pebbles, rocks etc. My idea of a decent beach in the UK is Weymouth or Bournemouth.
I don’t mind it, but it more or less sticks to me everywhere after I’ve been swimming. Have to dry off to whack it off properly
i dont hate it but i dont love it, if that makes sense?
like i dont mind it but i hat how messy it gets but aslong as i spend time dusting and brushing off my 5 kids after its ok lol
Maybe you could get a pair of aqua shoes,if you dont like walking on the sand,.. it still might get into the shoe though, but it will protect your feet of any sharp objects..x
Sometimes I feel I am weird as most of the people like it. I am sensitive to the sun so it is an extra thing as well. I know sand can be rinsed but just hate being there when is stuck on my legs.
