Hayfever/Allergy Tablets? What Do You Take?
Ask a Question
So what's the better one between cetirizine and loratadine?
I've been taking cetirizine for a little while, but they don't seem to be helping much.
Has anyone had any experience with loratadine?
Loratadine is the best in our family. All of us (4 adults) take loratadine in the season of hey fever or when we are having allergies. We have been taking this brand for years now and it is very effective.
Letgetfreestuff I'm might switch from the cetirizine tbh because they don't seem to be working.
I have been using lidl brand of hay fever and allergy relief. They are cetirizine hydrochloride ones and seem to work the trick. The ones I take are 10mg - maybe you need to up your doseage
LeighReidAtanas Ooo! I'm not sure whether I want to up my disease!
Thanks for your reply though
TheChimp omg predictive text and fat fingers I meant up your dosage sorry oops!
LeighReidAtanas I'm on the highest dose allowable at the moment.
Maybe I'll try switching to loratadine.
TheChimp let me know if they are any better with your hay fever I’ve not took a tablet today but have been okay so far
I have awful hay fever and I find the Sainsbury's own brand of hay fever is the only thing that does the trick for me. Hope this might help? Not sure which one they are (cetirizine or loratadine).
Western medicine relies on selling drugs to people and keep them addicted to it. Good on you for distancing yourself from it.
I've personally not had a hay fever since forever, the flu or whatever. Cherish your own body and it rewards you.
A spoonful of locally produced good quality honey everyday for allergies although the tablets with insect bites.
Loratadine is what as a nurse re seem to recommend don’t pay out for expensive ones any brand is really the same thing
I take cetirizine ones and find they work well for me, but different brands of the same medication definitely seem different to me. I prefer Allacan (which are usually available cheaply on Amazon). I find if I don't take them every day though they don't work as well. If I skip a day my allergies are much worse.
