stumbled across some news in the paper that there’s going to be a He-Man movie due out next year
really? He-Man? He-Man??
Noah Centineo (who?) has been cast as the leading role, so he’s been working out hard to get into shape (https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2490061/how-much-weight-noah-centineo-put-on-to-play-he-man), although I’m sure CGI and all that is high tech will be used to death on the film
I hope they don’t spoil it like last time...I recall it being really, really bad...
Indeed. For the remake, I’m preparing for the worst....I’m sure I’ll be disappointed but we shall see how disappointed Lol
He-man is a bit of a ridiculous character who spends most of his time running around in little more than a pair of briefs. Given they are casting someone who mainly works in romantic comedies in the lead role suggests this latest version may also be leaning in that direction... By the Power of Grayskull, I'm not convinced this will be a very good film 
Lol yes I’m expecting the worst. There’s probably a generation of people out there who will think the entire thing is bizarre - which it is. But I imagine Mattel have their fingers crossed with a huge franchise if this one goes well
I dunno i always liked Mark Harmon as the Beastmaster or the guy who used to play Maverick Lee Horsley he did one Sword and sorcery - long time since SWORD AND SORCERY movies were the in thing!
KRULL was the best though even had TODD CARTY from Grange Hill and the brilliant Bernard Breslaw in it and of course the gorgeous english rose Lysette Anthony with the sparkling eyes - wow she was a stunner and no mistake almost as lovely as Tyrone Powers daughter Taryn Power in SINBAD AND THE EYE OF THE TIGER!

Yeah my fave was Brian Blessed as the hawkman he was pure majj but Klytus was great too.

Loislane Timothy Dalton yeah he was pants as JB almost as bad as Pierce Brosnan - canny beat Sean Canary!

Anyone seen The Power of Grayskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe on Netflix? Quite an interesting watch.
No I haven't but sounds interesting though I don't watch netflix maybe I should x
As a girl who grew up in the 80s, I loved pretending to be She-Ra to my brothers He-man and his mates!!
I know we've all seen the ads on tv for a certain market that's super, and my kids haven't got a clue what it was all about.
I kind of agree that some remakes have been rather disappointing to say the least. But who knows, we'll just have to wait and see. You never know I may be dressing up as She-Ra again soon!! for my kids birthday party i mean!!! lol
Personally I just cant wait for the summer when GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE comes out!!!!

Lol I guess I’ll end up watching it, no matter how bad the reviews are. Just means I’ll catch on a streaming service opposed to the cinema. It’s definitely a part of my childhood I nearly forgot about until I saw this news 
well as someone who was a kid in the 80s, I liked a bit of he-man and battle cat (especially battle cat for being a cat) but skeletor was my fave. However I can't help but think I'm not their target audience for a film as I'm far too old to watch that.
oh dear, another one that will turn out pants. at least we might get a laugh out of it
