Headphones Glitch email

Deals

Did anyone else get an email titled 'sincerely begging you willing cancel order for the wrong price' ? It is from the Amazo/Koiko headphones glitch the other day. Although it says it comes from Phoebe who is based in UK judging by the wording I very much doubt that is true but when deciphered it basically says she is going to lose her job etc if she doesn't get the orders cancelled and can't feed her family etc etc. I don't know about anyone else but for a cheap pair of headphones I really don't want to take the risk of losing someone their job. To be honest i am dubious about whether someone will lose their job just by the way the email is so poorly worded etc but I have replied to cancel because I'll be whittling all day if i didn't. The email gave me a laugh anyway so I got something out of it 😄

Don't worry too much. If you only ordered one you should be okay but there were people who ordered 3-5 of them and still complained.

Read this below elsewhere and seems like the employee who set the £20 off instead of 20% off will not only be fired but held accountable for all the losses made.

Dear Customer.

This is Phoebe from amazon UK store Koiiko Direct.

Thanks for your purchase our headset on Fri, Jul 14.

I know that my request is very abruptly. Cause I found that I had make a mistake when I created the promotion event.

This is my foolish mistake from my promotion code created. I wrongly created a promotion with ‘SAVE £ 20’ for each purchasing instead of ‘20% off '.

And your order item had been sold with the faulty price.

I am sorry to bring you inconvenient that I am begging to request you willing to cancel this order

Since the price of our product almost no profit at all, if we sell by this faulty piece, neither could we get any profits, nor can we pay back of money. even your order fees were not enough for us to pay the fees To Amazon.

And my mistake caused the result that lots of order had been placed with the faulty price. Which will bring great losses for my Boss and my company.

My boss request me to be all entirely responsible for this mistake, and properly to handle all the problems, otherwise I will not only be dismissed, also will be responsible the high cost of compensation.

I hope you can understand my plight and I just a small employee. I'm only 20 years old and this is my first job, I need this job very much to feed my family.

And then I try to contact Amazon are requiring whether they can help us to contact the customer and cancel these faulty order within amazon's policy, since we are just a new seller and we have no ways to afford these great losses.(That's the reason why amazon contact you at previous time.)

I am sorry for this situation, I have no ways but writing to begging whether you can help us to cancel your order.

(If you can accept that, please reply us a mail and choose the subject as "Order Cancellation Request", I will help you to cancel your order as soon as possible.)

I will be appreciated if you could do that to help a poor new comers. Thank you very much!

I hope you are a kindhearted person and believe that kindness will repaid with kindness.

Sincere thanks and best wishes you.

Phoebe

I hope that things work itself out but seeing how Amazon dispatched, it's not looking good.

Yes this is the email I got and which made me feel really uneasy, I didn't want to be a part of someone losing their job for the sake of a free £20 pair of headphones. I've actually been on Amazon and asked for the order to be cancelled.
