Heatwave to Return

Jut let you all know the heatwave returns this weekend. And temperatures will be up to 30c. And the heat wave will go well in to August. There will be hose pipe band. No baths just a quick shower in and out. We here are just getting it warm. And cool in the evenings. How will you all cope with the heatwave. The heat makes me very poorly. Because I once got very bad heat stroke . Shops will be running out of ice cream and salad food again.
Oh no, I hate the heat. I've had heat exhaustion before and my daughter had it last week on the coolest day because she decided to spend the day running around outside. I guess she didn't notice she was overheating as the weather had cooled down a lot.
I am lucky here highlands we did not get the heat wave. And this time around it be the same. Hope you will be fine .
The heat makes me feel very ill. I can't concentrate, feel sick. I really don't like it. I find it hard to work, do housework, etc in it. It's cool today outside. I really don't want temperature that high again.
I do not like the heat at all. I have lupus and I've to stay out of the sun. Hope you do not get to bad
nicolajaynehend I suffer from chronic migraines and this heat hasn't helped, so I know what it is like to be unwell in the sun.
thankfully I usually only consider it to be hot when it hits 40+ degrees, so looking forward to a proper summer this year - it’s been the first one in ages where you can plan a bbq a few days, if not a week, ahead and not worry about it raining on the day
if it gets too hot, just loiter around the supermarkets to enjoy the air con and chilliness of the fridges they’ve cranked up to the max - some supermarkets are open 24/7 
I hate the heat. I lucky hear in the highlands we are getting cool weather.
Same as you hspexy its not hot if its over 40deg. I am loving it, totally taking in the heat and just enjoying it. Upping my vitamin D count for the winter..lol! Evenings do get a bit cooler for me so the jumper/light fleece comes out but usually... suns out, buns out...ermmm I mean legs out. defo legs not buns! Not on Cali Beach .. that's a different story!! 
nemosays lol! If you want to stick out those buns, I won’t judge! 
We defo need to enjoy it for as much as we can - when it’s cold, wet and dark in the uk, it’s very cold, wet and dark! It was a tad cooler today and I had to bring out the cardi - no buns out for me today (I mean legs!)
Here in the highlands it do not get dark in the summer months. So we make the most of the summer evening. Because. In the winter months it is dark by 2pm in the after noon. We did have a few warm days but no more. We missed the heat wave.
It is not hot for long here....max one week and than it drops 10 degree so everyone gets sick.

I hate the heat too 
I'd rather be freezing cold than hot, it makes me so irritable and restless. The only good thing is it cheers up the majority of people, so more people smile!
Thank you for your reply. You would love here in the highlands. We had no heat wave. Just warm and cool in the evenings. Some time we had to light the fire.
i will be going on holiday but yes on Sunday it will be 26 degrees and on Monday it will be 28 degrees
nicolajaynehend yes where i am going it will only be a degree warmer but there will be some rain
this will be good, where i live, it has been very cold so it will be good for the heat to return
After the prolonged miserable winter that lasted through most of spring, I was beginning to think that we'd never see any warm or hot weather again. So I am happy with this weather, although I would like some rain now as we desperately need it.
bring on hot weather as far as I am concerned. love to see it as we don't get much in the UK and the garden thrives. as long as you use a good suncream and a hat it is great
love the sun coz it being happy atmosphere seems most people are much happier especially now kids are off school they are just happy to play out leaving parents not having to find cash on taking to pics etc x even though i dot go out being agrophobic i look through window n smile when i see all the kiddies having water fights etc ... x
