Unfortunately, it‘s that time of the year where the council tax is due to be paid. Hopefully, your council will have ways to help, some offering deferred payments, and others offering discounts
If you do have any hardship during these times, you could try contact your local MP to see if they’re able to help - they usually do if there’s enough people asking for help
Apply to your local council for Council Tax Reduction (sometimes called Council Tax Support).
You’ll get a discount on your bill if you’re eligible https://www.gov.uk/apply-council-tax-reduction I just did this for Mother in Law, she always got 'single person discount' but does not claim any other benefits she now pays NO Council Tax
