NEW - How Do I Edit Info of Someone Else's Post?
Help
Hey, this is an exciting update!
You can now report a post and update it with missing information, such as a delivery charge, price change, picture or title.
Here's an example of adding information if there's a delivery cost -
Step 1 - Press the three dots '...' then 'Report'
Step 2 - Press 'Reason', 'Missing Info'
Step 3 - Enter Delivery Charge, Press 'Report'
When you press report, Moderators will get a notification and review the suggested edit.
Other examples may be adding a better photo, suggesting a title improvement, or updating the price.
Just another reason why Latest Deals is the best.
Kelsey Tom Is there anyway we can edit the link in posts we make ? I have posted a couple of competitions recently and the link I give changes to something else. One example is this one https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/competitions/win-hypnos-bed-hypnosbeds-2964 When you click enter it is taking you to the US site. Another I can remember is a Hello mag comp that was adding 900 to the url and coming up as page not found. I looked to try and edit the link but couldn't find a way to do it.
Hey jinxyjink I‘m afraid we can’t let people change links after a deal has been shared. This is a safety measure —
When you share a link, it goes through a safety check. If the link could be changed afterwards, as we’ve experienced in the past, this would mean bad actors could get around the safety check.
If you find a link is not working, just report it with the correct URL in the message and we can fix it, as I have done now with your competition.
Hope this makes sense!
Do I just ignore a comment about a report that is silly? Ie complaining that I have not given a price for a competition prize?
Thank you, Thats clearer now, if I don't ask I don't learn anything. So Thank you for your time.
