Help Me Find My Wife a Gift for Our 8th Wedding Anniversary
Ask a Question
Ok so normally I'm really good at gift ideas and things but looking for a gift for my wife on our 8th wedding anniversary, she is very crafty, has sewing machine and all the bits n bobs to go with, bakes alot and makes her own soaps and creams etc, I'm at a total loss on ideas, she is into her Harry potter etc but I have purchased to many notebooks, and memorabilia in past so that's out the question
Congratulations! You could compile a photo book to document your 8 years of marriage? Or tickets for a future trip to the Harry Potter studio in Watford when it reopens
Does she like gardening? How about a trip to the garden centre letting her chose a pot and all the plants to go in it.
How about Jamie Harrington

From Amazon they also have knitting and tapestry harry potter books
Depends which route you want to take - Traditional or modern
Bronze, Pottery (Traditional) - sculpture, bowl, ornament from somewhere you both liked/held meaning. Linens, Lace (Modern) - special cushion, something more personal that she wouldn't make for herself
A surprise picnic/visit based on your wedding day. A pamper day for you both. You cook for the day (if you don't normally)
My wife loves all things sewing too.
I suggest taking a sneaky look at the sewing books your wife has already. If she has two or more by the same author that’s a big clue to what she likes.
Type the author’s name into Amazon, and then do a sort by Publication Date to see the most recent, and check for good reviews.
My wife has several Debbie Shore Half Yard books, if that helps.
If you do buy a book don't forget to write a message in it!
If your wife likes quilting my wife recommends:
The Quilter's Bible by Linda Clements
Quilting books by Lynne Edwards
Good luck and Happy Anniversary.
