The Help Tool is Useless for Me ,It Never Understands!

Whenever I ask anything I get an automatically generated reply about something totally different I am afraid, is there another way?
If you want to email them to get help, if you type “contact email” into the help bot it’ll let you email them for help instead.
I just email them as you get a proper reply from a person who has looked into whatever your concern is. I've never found those automated bot things to be useful to be honest, they give out too much irrelevant information.
Thanks cocolgooh and angelik I asked about twenty times and it gave up and gave me an email form
I feel for you. I have a hp envy printer on a plan whereby they send you ink and you pay on a plan depending on how many sheets you print per month, mine is free up to 15 pages but I never use them all. Apart from the first lot I have never received any ink and at one stage I managed to do an online chat with a real person who promised to send some....they didn't!
I ended up buying my own and deciding to opt out of the plan but cannot contact. Yesterday I received an email saying that in future I will be charged 99p per month. A pittance you may say but why should I pay anything for printing on a printer I own and buy my own ink for?
Anyway, I can't email or phone and only have a virtual chat now, not live, which of course ends in frustration as my problem does not compute! Don't know what to do.
Sorry to hi jack your topic but didn't want to be accused of duplicating by starting another.
Lynibis You make me laugh - not at your problems but at the fact your quibbles are often so inline with my own Mum She has an HP printer with the plan. When you go onto the website, there is an option to have it free for 15 pages again but they obviously don't make that easy to find. I wish I could go on the site for you and find it! How are they charging you? Just block the payments. That's another solution.
Dennab lol I would hazard a guess me and your mum are roughly the same age.
I do online banking and there is no dd or standing order but my daughter in law (works in bank) says it is probably card payment but as I have recently had a new card they won't be able to take any money. I am going to wait and see if any money goes out (I can afford to lose 99p lol) and then take more assertive action. Lucky you happened on my comment, so many comments are probably not seen by those who may be interested in them.
Lynibis You are indeed around the same age. I remember reading a post a while ago and realising that! It's just a number though. Anyway, yes your card number changing should sort it. They're crafty gits. As for finding your comment; yes it was lucky! I only tapped on about three chat topics as I really should be working
The automatic chat bot is actually Mr Church's brainchild! It uses Google's AI platform to learn over time and he reviews it weekly to see which questions failed and adds in additional answers or adjusts the training to better respond.
Unfortunately it'll never (or at least not until a very long time and the rise of the machines! ) be able to answer every question perfectly.
Its main aim is to try and provide an easy interface to the wealth of FAQs and guides we have. We found with the previous system people understandably didn't want to sift through loads of text to find their answer and so just emailed us instead. It was taking a lot of time to answer questions manually via email and so the chat bot was born!
I can't currently find the exact figure, but fairly sure it regularly answers 80%+ of questions correctly and, of course, we're always here via email if it falls flat on it's face and just spits out nonsense
