Help - Why Can't I Re-Post a Competition after a Month?

A while ago on Latest Deals, there was a community decision that deals, vouchers and freebies could be re-posted after a month (rather than be marked as a duplicate).

This guiding principle does not extend to competitions. This is because the way people use competitions is different:

• People enter competitions once, and if we have multiple posts of the same competitions it means you cannot keep track of which you have entered.
• People often sort competitions by closing date. This means that if there were more than one of the same competition, you'd see them all as you sort by closing date.

For these reasons, we do not allow competitions to be re-posted after a month as we do for deals, vouchers and freebies.
